The Working Group 1 (WG-1) of UN Open GIS Initiative aims to provide a full scale of Hybrid GIS Solutions for UN Secretariat, including UN field missions and regional commissions, and then expand to UN agencies, UN operating partners, and developing countries. Hybrid approach will effectively support UN operations through integrating Geo-Databases and complementing systems to support various UN requirements.

'OpenDroneMap and 3D' working group is the 6th domain working group (DWG) of the UN Open GIS Initiative. It aims to search for open source software used to build 3D data from video or imagery data captured by mobile or aerial devices such as drones and mobile phones, and tests the software in the field.

SMG is participated by many talented volunteers from private sector, academia, and public sector, but we would like to have wider participation especially from young professionals, large language model (LLM) users, and even LLMs!
