Documentation Content Volunteer
Overview
UN Smart Maps is looking for volunteers to help with content for documentation website. This includes:
- Event information
- Community meeting information
- Resources
The documentation website is a static site built with Docusaurus. The website is hosted on GitHub Pages and the repository is located here: https://github.com/UNopenGIS/smartmaps
Qualifications
- Interest in mapping and/or open source software
- Interest in learning about GitHub and static site generators
- A GitHub Account
Desired Skills
- Experience with Markdown
- Experience with Git and GitHub
- Experience with HTML and CSS
Tasks
- Translate the documentation website into Japanese/English
- Create new documentation pages
- Update existing pages
- Style the website
